Hi guys,
I have a Python 524 which apparently is the same as Viper 5204 and Clifford 520.4X, and have some questions about installation into a 95 Integra GSR 3dr.
FYI: I have 2 530T's, one for windows and the other for sunroof. I also have a 520 battery backup and will install a trunk solenoid with relay and a hood pin switch. I probably will only use remote start as a novelty but at some point I will use the turbo timer. I also plan on buying a bit writer to program this.
My car is completely torn apart due to a rebuild project so I thought this would be the best time to put the alarm in. I've stealth installed many alarms in the past but that was a while ago and the technology has changed a little so please bare with me!
First question: Will you please briefly explain what the Flex Relay does? I've read that in can supply either a (-) or (+) signal when needed. Is this just for remote start control? So I would just hook up the wires I need and not worry about it?
Wiring questions (I don't need the actual wire color or location of where to connect, just a brief explanation of what needs to be connected to it):
Main Harness (H1), 6-pin connector:
H1/4, WHITE/ brown: Parking light isolation wire: - Do I need this if I'm just lighting the parking lights? I assume this is if I'm lighting the blinkers?
H2 Harness, 24-pin connector:
H2/1 PINK/WHITE (-) 200mA IGNITION/FLEX RELAY CONTROL OUTPUT - ?
H2/2 BLACK/ WHITE (-) NEUTRAL SAFETY INPUT - Connect to parking brake wire?
H2/5 RED / WHITE (-) 200mA TRUNK RELEASE OUTPUT - To relay for trunk solenoid
H2/6 GREEN (-) DOOR TRIGGER INPUT (N/C* OR N/O) - Grn/Red (-)
H2/7 BLACK / YELLOW (-) 200mA DOME LIGHT SUPERVISION OUTPUT - To relay with Grn/Red
H2/8 BROWN / BLACK (-) 200mA HORN HONK OUTPUT - Gray or Blu/Grn (-) Do I need a relay?
H2/9 DARK BLUE (-) 200mA STATUS OUTPUT - ?
H2/10 PINK (-) 200mA IGNITION 1 OUTPUT - ?
H2/11 WHITE/ BLACK (-) 200mA AUX 3 OUTPUT - ?
H2/13 WHITE/ VIOLET (-) 200mA AUX 1 OUTPUT - 530T windows
H2/14 VIOLET/BLACK (-) 200mA AUX 2 OUTPUT - 530T sunroof
H2/15 ORANGE / BLACK (-) 200mA AUX 4 OUTPUT - ?
H2/16 BROWN (+) BRAKE SHUTDOWN INPUT - ? Car brake switch is (-). Relay?
H2/17 GREY (-) HOOD PIN INPUT (N/C OR N/O) - To hood pin switch
H2/18 VIOLET / YELLOW (-) 200mA STARTER OUTPUT - ?
H2/19 BLUE (-) TRUNK PIN/ INSTANT TRIGGER INPUT (N/C OR N/O) - Grn from trunk latch
H2/21 WHITE/ BLUE (-) REMOTE START/ TURBO TIMER ACTIVATION INPUT - ?
H2/22 ORANGE (-) 200mA ACCESSORY OUTPUT - ?
H2/23 VIOLET/WHITE TACHOMETER INPUT - Blue wire at Distributor
H2/24 GREEN / WHITE (-) 200mA OEM ALARM ARM OUTPUT - N/A
Remote Start, (H3) 10-pin connector
H3/1 PINK (+) IGNITION 1 INPUT/OUTPUT - ?
H3/2 RED / WHITE (87) FLEX RELAY +12V INPUT (30A FUSED) - 12V constant?
H3/3 ORANGE (+) ACCESSORY OUTPUT - ?
H3/6 RED IGNITION 1 +12V INPUT (30A FUSED) - 12V with key on?
H3/7 PINK/WHITE (30) FLEX RELAY OUTPUT (car side of ign, acc or starter wire) - ?
H3/8 PINK/BLACK (87a) FLEX RELAY INPUT (key side of ign, acc or starter wire if needed) - ?
H3/9 RED / BLACK ACCESSORY/STARTER RELAY +12V INPUT (30A FUSED) - ?
Any and all input is appreciated! If you have recommendations on any add ons or uses for the additional Aux outputs, I'd like to hear them!
Thanks a lot everyone.

Flex Relay is an output that can be used as a Ignition 2 or Accessory 2, or a Starter 2, if needed. According to the wiring guide, you should not need this.

I your car is an automatic, H2/2 will go to chassis ground. H2/16 should connect to vehicle (+) brake wire as listed on wiring guide. Used a DMM to test and verify all vehicle wires before connecting to the R/S.  Solder and tape all connections.

When all else fails, Read the Instructions
