Im installing a very basic keyless entry system. I have the power to the unit but i have an issue. Since this car did not come stock with any kind of security system i have decided to use the hook up in side the drivers side fuse box but after reading posts here and other places online i still can get the doors to lock and unlock.
I have read something about 5 wire lock motors but i was told not worry about that because my car did not come with a factory security system.
The system is a ready remote 21994. The install instructions for this thing on line is dismal at best and book it came with is confusing and near useless.

NOTE #3: USE BLACK/ WHITE (-) FOR LOCK AND GREEN/ RED (-) FOR UNLOCK ON LX MODELS
WITHOUT FACTORY SECURITY.THESE WIRES ARE LOCATED IN A 2 PIN GRAY
CONNECTOR BY THE FRONT OF THE DRIVERS SIDE FUSEBOX.
