I am installing a Valet 562T remote starter in an 04 Buick Century and am unsure of my need for a relay. The trunk release is a negative trigger so can I just hook it up to the (-) 200 mA Channel 2 Validity Output on the remote starter? Thank you.

Yes. You only need a relay if it is a + trigger (or multiplex)
