Do you mean you forgot to recharge it, and it went totally dead??

Someone posted the same thing a while back. I have had a few of those type remotes go completely dead.  I have had luck getting them to recharge by plugging them in, let it set, unplug it, plug it back in several times. Pressing the buttons> All of a sudden it starts taking a charge.   Could be also that the charger is no longer working.  Had one from a November install that the charger unit quit charging.  If you have a motorola phone with the same shape of pin you could try it.  I have used them with no problems.

I can offer to try recharging it for you if you want to mail it to me.
