Can someone explain to me Door Sense? There is a positive and negative hook up for door sense.
I have a pretty old car so I doubt it has door sense or is that just the pin switch that let's the car know the door is open?
From manual...
**Door sense: The polarity of the door sense in the vehicle will determine which wire to connect
from the PKE to the DIRECTED Remote Starter.
Thanks

Door sense = pin switch, door switch or door trigger, who invents these expressions unless they mean the wire that "senses" when a door is opened.
Unfortunately some car makers can get too clever, mine uses a pair of hall effect switches ,i.e. solid state, wonderful, especially when it rains and my alarm keeps triggering off.
Most cars are NEG, i.e. 12V+ to light bulb switched to ground via the door switch.
