I'm trying to get a Avital 4111 remote start on a 1998 Ford F-150 truck that has rear Anti-Lock brakes and need to power up the 3rd ignition wire and the Avital only has 1 and one that can be programed for either Ignition or Acc.m but I need all 3 Ignitions and the ACC for the truck.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Are you sure you even need it. I have done a ton of f series trucks from that era and never had an issue

This one has Rear Anti-Lock brakes and the ABS light stays on during remote start. I had to clear the codes to turn light off.
I finally figured out that the pink is the same on this avital as other DEI units, it's just NOT stated with the same description/funcation in the avital manual.
I'm also finding 2 different color codes on here for this truck.
In the color section here it has this:
ignition= blue/green
ignition2= RED / black
ignition3=BLACK/ green
I found another listing in one of the forums when I did a search on 1998 f150 and found this:
ignition=dk. blue/light green
ignition2=gray / YELLOW
ignition3= light blue/pink
also on this last one is where I found the info on the ABS brake issue.
Please can someone tell me which is correct?
Thanks

Don't have the Avital 4111 Install Guide available to see if there is a (-) 200mA Ignition Output wire. That would be
the easiest and most direct way of adding another high current Ignition Output. Here is the wiring :
Relay 30/40 Amp SPDT with 20 amp fuse
Relay Pin 85 to Avital (-) 200mA Ignition Output
Relay Pins 86 and 87 to +12V constant thru 20 Amp fuse
Relay Pin 30 to F150 3rd Ignition
Relay Pin 87a not used - insulate
Here is another way to do it if the Avital 4111 does not have a (-) 200mA Ignition Output wire. ( two relays and fuses
needed ). Download this ReadyRemote 24923 Install guide : https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/file.asp?ID=1010
Follow the diagram at the top of Page 17.
As for the wire guides and their discrepancies, it is best to use a DMM and test all ignition wires. The wire guides are only guides...
Soldering is fun!

I still have an issue with the ABS light staying on during remote start, I can't seem to find the wire I need to turn on to prevent that. It goes off as soon as you turn the switch on and release R/S.
I just hate to see a bug like that. I have spent several hours trying to find the problem and have yet to resolve it.
Thanks Everyone.
