rapid 200 car alarm

I have a Land Rover defender diesel fitted with a Rapid 200 alarm (both 1994 vintage) There is an intermittent fault whereby the engine will cut out. So far trouble shooting has shown that the 12v supply to the fuel valve in the injector unit looses power.
The fault will spontaneously resolve its self sometimes with the alarm arming its self, sometimes without. Apart from embarrassment engine cutting out could be dangerous.
Please help with advice - or information on where I can find the circuit diags for the alarm - or how I can remove the alarm.

I think you have other issues than a car alarm. Arming the alarm seems to resolve the problem sometimes seems like a desperation excuse for a alarm problem. If it was a remote start not a alarm I could see maybe there was a issue with the aftermarket piece.
You are going to have to call the manufacturer to get wiring info for the Rapid 200 alarm if its still in existence. Also if you don't know how to remove the alarm and need info on how to do it, maybe you should take it to a professional so nothing else in the car gets messed up.

I don't know who made the alarm and an internet search didn't give anything useful as to manufacturer. (anyone know who made it??) I am capable of removing the alarm but its much safer to do it with a wiring diag. or with the install instructions to run backwards. (that is I wouldn't attempt it without some documentation).
The initial symptom of the fault is loss of power to the fuel valve. When the fault resolves it self then the alarm also occasionally behaves abnormally.
Normally power for this valve is direct from the ignition switch, as a result of the alarm fitting power now goes through the alarm to disable the engine starting/running when the alarm is armed.
I have attached a light to the wire at the fuel valve so that I can confirm that it is loss of power at that point that caused the engine to stop, (as opposed to fuel starvation or something else) I suspect the alarm circuit as when the fault resolves its self sometimes the alarm will beep a few times or arm its self or just do nothing - so the only other event occurring with the engine stopping fault is maloperation of the alarm

Additional information I forgot to mention - The fault happens about once every 2-3 months and has a duration of about 1 - 5 mins. - So a bit difficult to trace
