2001 toyota tacoma/viper 5704

I'm mainly worried that it is for an '05 where I have an '01.

First that write up was done very well, and a word of advice TEST TEST TEST,all the wires with a DMM. That truck if I'm not mistaken does not have a transponder and its a very easy truck to install an alarm/remote start for an experienced installer.what you can do is to first get your wiring diagram for the truck then post on here what wires you gonna connect from the alarm to the truck and you will be advised if you are correct .proceed with caution and TEST everything.triniforever

Thanks for the quick reply. I have yet to order the alarm, it will be sometime soon here. When I do I will plan everything out and ask opinions and get a good strategy before I start. This weekend I will be sound deadening and doing a full sound system.
