elantra 2013 factory alarm disarm

The box containing these wires is labelled on the front with letters. It is facing you and the wires are in the lower right smaller connector labelled C Floor.

On the bottom row (with it plugged in) 4th pin from the left is a green wire. That is Alarm Disarm. Test by checking for ground while turning the key to unlock in the outside driver door lock.

On the top row is a medium brown wire 6th pin from the left. This is the lock detection wire. Test by checking for ground in unlock position and positive or open in the lock position.

You will need to pulse both the disarm wire and the lock detection wire twice with ground. Once to disarm and wake up the computer and the 2nd time will operate the door locks. Sometimes the actual unlock wire is required as well.

Same connector C Floor is a pink/black (lock) and yellow/black (unlock) next to each other in the middle of the bottom row. These are ground when the switch is pressed to operate the door locks, and are the wires that are ignored after a brief period of time after arming the car. Hence the required diodes on the disarm/detection wires.

All of these wires must be diode isolated.
