Hi, couple of days ago one of my keys stopped starting the car(2012 mazda 3), immobilizer light kept blinking fast. Brought it to dealer, they reprogrammed keys. Everything is good but my remote start does not work anymore.
I have 5704 installed with KEY-OVERRIDE-ALL. When i try to start it, i hear the signal gets send (lights come on, power to lighter outlet etc) but the car does not crank. Also tried starting the car with the key in the ignition on "off" position, and nothing. So i figured it has something to with the bypass.
I don't really get why it does not work, since the keys are suppose to be the same so the chips are the same also i suppose. All it was done is reprogrammed ecu. Now questions:
1.How come did bypass lose the keys if its a bypass problem that does not let the car start?
2. KEY-OVERRIDE-ALL can be programmed only ones from what i understand?
3. They changed the keys also? All the bills says "keys need to be reprogrammed"

oh btw, when the key didn't work, bypass worked, i'd start the car from remote and insert the key and everything would be good.

1: No idea why one of your keys would lose programming to the car; that's weird. But it seems like you have it fixed now, at least.
2: They do say that the key-override-all can only be programmed once, but in my experience it can actually be programmed twice, even to two different cars. So I would just go get the install guide at www.ifar.ca and reprogram it.

Everything worked, thanks. Now I get the point behind saying "one car", it could be any mazda 3 2012. And if I'm not mistaken I can reprogram it as many keys as I want. Thanks again
