I've tried two modules already this is the second my problem is that the module doesnt power up when I ground the brown wire gwr on the xk01 the light i believe should be solid when you do this. the door trigger works witht the alarm the door locks dont work at all but everything is wired correctly and wheni try to reset the module it doessnt see the lock or unlock inputs from the alarm but it is working test light shows ground when i press the buttons. i increased the door lock pulse still no go also i wasnt ever able to set the vehicle type to 4 so i think thats why it wont work but how can i swijtch the vehicle. Ive tried to hold button and plug 10 pin in the light stays solid once i press the button nothing when i turn the key to run it flashes 4 quick flashes which means its alreeady programmed when i try to press the button to change type the light xcomes on when i press the button and when i hold it,it enters option selection mode when it flashes once slow and then quick flash if i press the button it goes to two slow one quick, three slow one quick and so on until i get to eight slow one quick then it try to hit unlock or lock to change option to two and it should do two quick flash and nothing just keeps looping the flash codes i hold button again and then it goes out after a quick flash ive also tried chcking for engine codes had a bunch when i wass installing the auto start portion but now its all good just cant bypass the antileft for start and cant use door locks ordered a xkloader2 to try and reflash any other suggestions ive checked and rechecked all wiring to xk01 cant do databus on autostart no data port on it. please advise

Do you know if the xk01 was flashed with the latest firmware prior to install ?   That's the only issue I can think of

Is the truck an 07 Silverado or Silverado Classic? The XK01 will only work on the Classic as a bypass.

Ok i got it working I reflashed it and it asked me for the vehicle type this time.  the bypass is working but the door locks don't work, any ideas, its getting negative input from the auto start verified that already.  but no results when i do it.  I see the xk01 light come on for a sec when I do this.  will this not work with my truck do I need a different bypass module for my specific truck?

It does sense the door trigger to the autostart/alarm so my alarm tells me when the door opens.
