I've installed a viper 5704v on a 2006 honda accord 4cylinder coupe with a manual transmission..here's my issue u can only remote start it with the key in the ignition and turned to the run position. When I do the manual transmission remote start sequence it'll give me a 5 flash confirmation before I try and leave the car but when I take the key out of the ignition it turns the car off and reports to me five flashes. Any help would b greatly appreciated.

Did you install a bypass module?

yes, its a flashlogic FLCAN but the install instructions are real vague on that module and there is no way to tell if the firmware is correctly loaded into it. should I just go with the dei module that requires a key?

Sounds like a bypass issue.
Did it program correctly according to the instructions?
Is this D2D or W2W install?
Who flashed the module? Do they know what is flashed with?
How about the module diagnostic on page 9 of the install guide.

Actually I'm going to try the dei transponder bypass and c if that will make it any easier. That flash logic module was bought by my customer at Best Buy and we have no idea what firmware was loaded into it..thnx for the help. I'll post the outcome of this dei bypass.
