Hi Everybody I recently installed an Excalibur al-1850 remote starter in a 2002 cavalier with a 2.2L engine. Everything works like a charm. The only thing I have notice is that while on remote start, non of the gauges work, they only work after I inserting the key and turning it to the on position. Is this normal on this brand of alarms??? Any help would really be appreciate it thank you...

Do you have all of the ignition and accessory wires connected?
Bulldog Security list two accessory wires for that car.
Orange (+) and Brown (+)

smokeman1: No, I just used one of the cars accessory wires, I missed that one. so is that what's making the gauges not to work during remote start?? and if the cars second accessory is not connect will this mess up my gauges in the long run?? the remote start I have only has one accessory wire can I connect both orange (+) and Brown (+) accessory wires to the units accessory wire??? Thank you..

The install manual for your remote starter states that the Pink/White wire on the 6 pin main harness is a programmable output.(Ignition, Accessory, or Starter) Determine, with a DMM, which wires are your accessory wires.
I don't know if that is making your gauges not to work.
NO. Don't connect your two accessory wires to one output.
