Hello,
I'm hoping someone can help me out with this. It looks like Zenesis is no longer in business from what I can find? Normally, I prefer to work with Compustars as I have the programmer and I've had great luck with them. I came across a good deal on a Zenesis 202S remote starter that I thought I'd give a try. Everything seems to work fine, lock, unlock, trunk release, remote start... I can enable/disable passive mode, Valet, etc with no issues. Two problems I've come across:
1. I've somehow muted the 2-way remote. It says hold Key for 4 seconds to mute on or mute off... It does nothing. I've even held it for 10 seconds with no luck. 2 seconds starts the car of course.
2. I cannot get it to go into User Programming mode (or Installer Programming). I've tried grounding the hood pin myself, holding the brake, repowering the unit. The key combination it states is Key + Trunk for 2 seconds... Both remotes just flash the key at me about 7 times. I've tried every 2 second 2 key combination and I just can't get it to go. Installer Programming Mode doesn't seem to go either. I can't figure out what I'm missing?
For either of those, is there something I'm missing? Other than replace it with a Compustar? haha.
Thanks!

Yep, they didn't stay in business long.  A forum member, Tedmond, started to do a comparison test on them but didn't finish.  Plenty of issues.  He might still have some documentation so send him a PM.  He's pretty busy in med school but might be able to help.
Soldering is fun!
