I have the Omega crime guard 830i7 with the fortin evo chr installed in a 2009 jeep wrangler. Has worked great for the last 1 1/2 yrs but starting yesterday, when I hit the remote start and it will run for about 5 second and shut back off.

Any ideas on troubleshooting would be great.

Of course, the first thing to do is check all the connections. Remove all the tape and make sure the wires are secure to where they're supposed to be.

No question is stupid or not worth asking. You were once a noob, right? :)
