I have a 2005 F-150 XLT and am wanting to put turn signals on the mirrors. What advise can anyone give me and what wires (power, ground, and turn signal) should I be looking for?

light GREEN / WHITE...left front turn signal,
WHITE/ light blue...right front turn signal,
black...ground..
You can check in the doors for the wiring, may be present at connectors for the power mirrors. Or they can be found at the instrument cluster or multi function switch.

I'd look in the doors first. Ford may have done the work for you already. If not, you still need to get a wire into the door anyways.

The lights I have are scanning lights, is there something I can use that will either increase the speed or slow down the speed?

I put the lights on the mirrors on Saturday and they look great, but the right one flickers as the door moves but none the less still works.
