I bought a 2 way security/remote start kit, no brand name just model 3300 off of ebay. im just having trouble with the relay, everything ive looked at online does not match the diagram included in the book.
On the diagram im not sure how to connect the wires. I have wires hooked up from the "power" plug, ground, ign1, acc, positive, start and ign 2. I need to know where im putting the wires in the picture, do they go before these connections I made? the Ignition side of the wires? or the engine side? also I have no clue what the scissors mean "connecting" 30 and 87a. an info would GREATLY be appreciated.

The scissors mean you have to cut the wire. The relay should have numbers next to the terminals. Terminals 87a and 30 go to the ends of the cut starter wire off the ignition switch. Terminal 85 of the relay goes to the ignition wire off the ignition switch (has 12 volts on it during crank and while running). Make sure that the starter output wire from the remote starter connects to the engine side of the cut wire (after the relay).
