Going to be installing a Compustar cm6200 into a Canadian 2005 Kia Spectra.
First time working with Kia's and i have come to a road block.
I use the ADS Idatalink bypasses for my bypass needs however ADS dosent list the spectra until 2006.
I've done some searching and have seen that some people have done the key in the box method, but that was back in 2004, and on top of that (thanks to ADS) i've never had to go that method.
Is their a factory immobolizer in this year. Do i need to sacrifice a key and go with the box?
Any suggestions / Help is welcomed.
Thanks

Not sure on the Canadian models but the US versions don't have immobilizers at least the ones I've done anyway
