I installed the 5704 with a dlpk and rflchgm, but I'm having trouble getting the remote start towork right. When I try to remote start the car starts but the oem alarm goes off and the car shuts down after a few seconds. I've programmed the loop correctly (if I hold the chip from the loop with an empty fob the car starts and stays running).
Do I need a pkumux in addition to bypass the immobilized?
Thanks.

I believe on those trucks to disarm the factory alarm it needs to see transponder, ignition and keysense. If it's missing any of those the alarm will go off. What does the security light do when you remote start it ?

I believe it flashes, but I'll have to double check. So the flop/5704 starts the ignition, the rflchgm provides the keysense and I may need the pkumux for the transponder?
If that's the case would I use the rflchgm off of the pkumux instead of the dlpk?
Thanks!

I don't use xpresskit stuff but from the Web site it looks as if the dlpk doesn't do transponder on that truck. The rflchgm should do it for you. Be aware on those once they are programmed they can only be used once then they don't work anymore. The pkumux will also do transponder for you.

Looks like the light flashes once then goes steady.
I read somewhere that the rflchgm may not be activated by the dlpk unless one of the wires is connected to the oem alarm disable, but wire diagrams for the Durango say that there isn't one and that the car must be unlocked via the key fob before remote starting.
Of note, if I unlock the car before using remote start, it starts then stops but no alarm (makes sense to me as the alarm is disabled). If I put a fob in the ignition and remote start, it starts and runs normally, no alarm or anything.
Seems to me the rflchgm isn't being energized or the loop isn't placed right...?

Yes something is wrong with your transponder bypass

But the dlpk is not a transponder bypass. Is the rflchgm loop by itself, or do I also need the pkumux?
Actually, I think I misspoke, I think the rflchgm plugs into the alarm brain, not the dlpk.
Anyone know what tells the alarm to energize the loop?
Thanks again,

Any thoughts? Is there a wire I didn't connect that would have the brain activate the loop so the ignition thinks a key is present?
