long story short. I thought i was being kind enough to buy my wife a remote starter for her 2011 honda pilot, purchased from amazon (cm600 as). I tried getting local installer to install the system but nobody will do it since i purchased it online. Now i am stuck with it. I have some experience with mechanic but zero installing a remote starter. i've also purchased the idatalink al-ca modules with the usb flasher. can somebody guide where to get step by step instructions or a pictorial. I have spent many hours searching this form, and i have not been able to find the information. Thank you and merry christmas for those who celebrates it.

1) get a wiring diagram here:https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp?tid=135857
2) create an account on www.idatalink.com.
3) install drivers for ads-usb
4) flash flcan with correct firmware and set for d2d.
5) using same account as #2, log into www.compustar.idatalink.com.
6) update compustar brain to latest flash
7) bench prep your unit. you need the high current harness, nd the d2d harness from your unit to the bypass
8) install into car, testing wires. The flcan will take care of 95% of your install.
9) Don't expect a walk in the part with your first install. don't forget to test your wires.
tip: when using the idatalink guide, the plugs shown are always pin side.
