Hi, I just came from the geek squad at bestbuy where a remote start viper 4105V with a smartstart module 205 was installed in my 2012 toyota Rav4. The problem is that when the guy press the lock button the horn sound and wont stop until a button is pressed. It did it every time he pressed the lock. remote start work fine, the app from the phone to remote start and lock and unlock work fine. He called the help line for the alarm and after a talk with the guy on the phone he turn the panic off and told me that he was told that this is a common problem with this model and some toyotas and there is nothing to do unless we switch to a different model. I came home and search the internet and I couldn't find anyone with this problem. Can anyone help me to find a solution? Thanks in advance.

never heard of that problem before. Might have a bad horn output thats staying on or mistakenly connected the ground when armed wire to the horn.

Thanks for your reply. Maybe I need to go back to the guy or to a different geek squad store.

Hi, I have an appointment with a different geek squad store for this week. Anyone has any other idea what could be causing this problem? Thanks
