Hey guys.
I've fitted a dei 3903t canbus upgrade system to my car and I've replaced 3 sirens already. Some how they just keep failing after a month or two.
Any of you guys have any suggestions of what could be going wrong ??

Are they mounted above the exhaust manifold? Is it aiming downward to prevent water from filling the bell up with water?

the sirens were all aimed downwards. the siren is mounted on the strut tower well away from the exhaust manifold.
I cant think of anything that maybe killing the sirens. They were all battery backup sirens.

i would like to say the lead acid batteries in those won't last long with excessive vibrations. i would relocate them far away from heat/strut tower

I don't think it could be a bad batch.. sirens came from 3 different manufactures. I'm more leaning to heat as being the issue. but cant say for sure. I'll just wire it up to the horn to eliminate further issues
