hey I just installed prostart ct5472tw in a 2014 grand caravan with dball 401.chrysler v5.06.01. my issue is that it wont crank when you remote start everything else works ie door locks, park lights, blower motor turns on just no crank. ive double checked connections reset and flashed dball twice. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

If you stick the key in the ignition and remotestart does it work? If so then it's someting in the bypass. If not there are other issues. Also do you have the neutral safety grounded and the hood closed if a hood pin is installed or used??

no it doesn't start with key in ignition switch. pretty much everything is operated through can circuit. just wondering if anyone else has had this problem with dball and multiplex ignition systems

I do a ton of caravans and they very rarely pose any issue...now with that said I have on occasion and this is a a bit of a leap but I have had to program the tach...pretty sure it's covered under the DBall so just connect the purple tach on the secondary harness to whichever data line the dball says controls tach...then program tach...it's in the manual..worth a shot...not enough wires to really mess this one up...has to be something simple...good luck

Thanks I will try programming tach. Like you say it has to be something simple. I do installs all the time and never ran into this problem.
