Hey, I went to finally see if I could fix my keyless entry that has never worked from circuit city. I drive a 93 Civic ex coupe that doesn't have keyless entry stock. It does have power doors. I looked at the power lock module in the driver side door and I only saw stock wires. Although when I looked at my fuse panel above it there are 2 wires that look like the negatives to the alarms keyless entry. They connect to a stock wire plug but that stock plug doesn't plug into anything. I'm finally home and I have a digital camera so I can post pictures for extra help. I greatly appreciate.

*If you guys can help me get this to work, I will donate $10 ;)*   [ I love incentives]

Power Lock GREEN / WHITE SWITCH OR DOORLOCK CONTROL
Power Unlock GREEN/ RED UNIT IN DRIVER DOOR #201
#201- See Negative Pulse Door Lock Diagram.
what you are saying is that the alarm lock wires go to a plug and are t-tapped into the wires above the fuse box??
that plug doesnt go anywhere. some companies make an aftermarket plug that will plug into the factory plug that you see. you dont have to use it. you can just tap into the wires.
thats what is sounds like they did.
do your locks work from the alarm??
if not check to see that the tap is good. it might not be making a good connection.
Good Luck

My door locks work, but it acts as if the alarm isn't there. When I arm my alarm it doesnt lock the doors and when I disarm it, it doesn't unlock the doors. When I had it done the guy told me once I put my door panel back on it will work, and I was in a rush and wasn't thinking right so I let it go. Then once I hooked my door panels back on and plugged the lock switch from the door to the door panel it didn't work. Anymore help would be appreciated.

They are t-tapped well taped together, into a stock oem plug but the plug doesn't go into anything. I can't find where it plugs in either. If I remember right it is a Greed/black wire and a Blue/Black .

Would you like me to take a picture?

yes take and send to firemann48@aol.com
also see if you can find the lock wire from above. test them with a meter. once you find then you can hook up the wires from the alarm to the door locks...
Good Luck

Did the guys at Circuit City installed the keyless entry? If they did it should have a lifetime warranty on the installation and you can take it back to them to be fixed. Also do you just have a keyless entry or is it an alarm with keyless entry?

Sorry for taking so long to respond but I've had a long night.

I'll take pics tomorrow since my car won't be moving tomorrow at all because of the other problems(performance not audio).

Yes circuit city installed the DEI Viper alarm w/ keyless entry. I have tried to bring it back twice but they just made excuses without ever looking at any of the wires.

You already paid for it go to the manager of the road shop if he makes any excuses go to the store manager and don't leave the store unless they agree to fix it or they call the cops.

Well today I had to install my new exhaust because my one of my pipes rusted off and fell last night. While installing it I can't get one of the bolts off and I almost got a ticket last night from running no pipe so I can't really drive to circuit city this weekend and they are doing huge police watch on the main road to get to it last week and this week atleast so I can't get to circuit city. I know it sounds bad, but my tint is slightly illegal, I have RED / clear(not altezzas), and my car is lowered(not slammed) so cops will pull me over even if I'm not speeding. Please don't say just go your worrying to much, but I get followed not even near the road and I do not race or speed. I've only been pulled over to tail light out, no front plate(that is on now), and other small things like that. Even when I leave my car home for college my dad drives it and he told me he was followed over a handful of times. Even when CC installs it for free, I know I will get a ticket if I go this week. They are pulling everyone over for the littlest things. Sorry for the long post, I'll try to post some pics in a few minutes
