Viper 4105v, No LED

I am doing a Viper 4105v with Idatalink install on my 2015 Tundra. I have connected all wires according to the Idatalink diagram for my truck. I am taking pics with hopes to post install here and on Tundra forum. I hooked the 2 red 12ga 12volt (30A) viper remote start wires directly to the battery. Is this ok? When I plug the remote harness for the viper in I have the activation wire grounded to select D2D. I get no LED on the Viper. I have confirmed power and the LED on Idatalink is blinking. I assume the Viper gets power from the 2 12ga Red 12V wires. Can anyone tell me what I am missing? I am not the smartest, but I am determined.

The d2d/esp switching using the activation is not required on the 4105. This was only applicable for older 4013v brains. simply plug in your idata, set it for whichever mode and program. the power to the battery is okay, but it would have been easier to get constant 12 at the fusebox. Large black or white wire.Ted

Thanks for the information. I know the idatalink information for the remote starts are a little generic. I am only looking for the remote start and door locks. Besides valet switch, antenna, parking light, D2D, and 6-pin remote start connector wires, do I need anything else hooked up to the Viper? (i.e. brake shutdown, hood pin shutdown switch, ground, loch/unlock)It sounds like he idatlink takes care of these. I assumed the (+/-) light flash output is the parking light wire.

Idatalink does do many convenience features but you still require: power, ground, antenna, large gauge harness connections, neutral safety to ground, and the idatalink portion. It's a pretty simplified install when using the alca. Yes the light flash output is the parking light output. Select the correct polarity. be sure to test your wires.Ted

Thank you very much. If you have not already guessed, this is my first install. I have the antenna, ground, large gauge harness(I soldered on smaller wires to run up to ignition)and idatalink wires all tested and connected. I do not see a power wire. Is power taken off large gauge 12volt connection? This is an automatic, do I need the neutral safety to ground and if so does that just hook to ground? Sorry for the being such a novice, but I like to learn.
