Hey guys/ladies,
I have a 2012 Silverado with factory keyless and factory remote start (RS). Do I need to connect any of the heavy gauge H1 harness for my viper two way using dball inerface? Also, according to DBAll2 instructions, do I need to put an inline diode into the ignition wire even though I have factory RS? Do I need the RFLCHGM as well?
Thanks,
Ryan

Installed alarm today. 1) you do need the RF loop if you have remote start from factory
2) all ignition wires must be connected (even from remote start harness. 3) no other wires from RS harness are required. Not a tough install, for me it was more about exploring the factory RS, DBALL comparability. I hooked up each harness 1 by 1 to determine importance.
