CM-7200 Tach Learning/Signal Issues

Hello All, I am wondering if you guys could shed some light on an issue ive been having with my compustar remote starter. Its a CM-7200 with a fortin bypass on an 08 Honda Element. I currently have the tach wire hooked up to the fuel injector wire and i have learned the signal at 1500rpm. The vehicle starts fine on cold starts, however on warm starts it sometimes overcranks for 3-4 seconds. If i relearn the tach to any lower than 1500rpm, the starter undercranks and usually fails to start on the first attempt on a cold start. I have tried using a coil wire and get the same results. The system is grounded properly under the kick panel. My question is...is this even a valid problem? My understanding is, if i am learning the tach at a 1500rpm cold start, of course it will overcrank on a warm start. But this only happens "sometimes" meaning sometimes it will start fine on a warm engine but most of the time it will overcrank on a warm engine. Weird. I am assuming i will have to relearn the tach signal come the warmer months to a lower rpm, which leads me to another question. Do you guys living in areas with drastic temperature changes in the summer and winter (i am in Canada) have to relearn your tach signals in the summer and then again in the winter months each year? Or is that not needed and something is wrong with my system or how i am learning it? Should having the tach wire hooked up control the crank time regardless of warm or cold starts and adjust automatically? I mean i could just leave it be and refrain myself from remote starting on a warm engine (who does that anyway...Me! Lazy i know lol) Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!
