hello.

i bought a Pontiac that has this unit installed. when i start the car with the remote it starts the car and unlocks the door. i'm not interested in it unlocking the doors. theirs a series of dip switches that have no labeled functions. does anyone have the installation manual for this unit. i have found the user guide but it offers no help with disabling the unlock with start command or these dip switches

If it is unlocking before start, it may be how they have the system set up so that it will disarm the OEM security system. It should then relock after it has started.

seems like it stays unlocked until i re-lock it. I can start it then go out 10min later and its running and unlocked. good way to have stuff stolen out of the car. i assumed one of the many dip switches on the main unit would toggle that feature
