I have a 1996 Ford Ranger with a AS-1515SH remote start in it. The old key fob broke so I ordered a replacement. I followed the procedure to pair it to the system. After a few attempts I made it. All worked fine (start, locks). I changed the oil in the truck and went to try it again and it wouldn't work. So I paired it again. All worked fine. I tested it again in a hour or so and it would not work.
Any clue as to why they keep forgetting each other?
I know this is a old system, just hoping someone has a clue.
