I have a 2003 Ram 1500 with a Viper 4105V remote start and power door lock. Every thing works like it should except the factory alarm. I would like to use the factory alarm with this system if I can as we just had someone breaking into cars in our neighborhood.
From my research the arm and disarm wire are the same in my truck and supposed to be hooked up using resistors and relays. Are they supposed to be hooked up through the same relay or separate relays? If separate how are they supposed to be wired to the relay, the same? Any help would be appreciated

Separate relays.

Here is a link to the relay wiring for the Disarm function from Bulldog Security :

http://diagrams.marktoonen.nl/DOWNLOADS/16227_RAM-FULL-SIZE-PICKUP-_DODGE%20RAM%20DISARM%20DIAGRAM.pdf

For the Re-arm function do the same thing using the Vipers Rearm output instead of the Disarm output on Pin 85 and use a

2,000 ohm resistor instead of the 480 ohm resistor.

Both relay outputs go to the same wire in the RAM.

Soldering is fun!

Got the relay hooked up but nothing, still don't get the chirp or honk when locking but does work when I do the stuff with the valet button. I can hear the relays working and triple checked to make sure they were hooked up correctly. Does the activation out need to be hooked up and would that affect anything? Thanks for the reply
