Not a big Viper user, but you might want to set the Parking Light jumper / fuse to (+).

There is a Pictorial on this vehicle that might be of some assistance in locating vehicle wires.  Here is a link :

Thank you! Couple more questions how do I connect parking lights because in the wire guide says to use (-) (see tech doc 1082). And the doors locks should work once the dball2 is installed? I'm just wanting to make sure once i receive my new bypass I can finally be done. The first one didn't work at all. Thank you for all your help.

My normal brand of bypass module is iDatalink.  I have never used a DB-ALL2.  Going by the DB-ALL2 w/402.CHRYSLER2 v2.04

firmware install guide, you would follow the Type 3 Install diagram.  Just ensure that the company supplying the DB-ALL2 does
flash the bypass module with this firmware for you prior to shipment.  You would need the XKLoader2 cable ( > $30 ) to flash the
firmware yourself.  The Features Chart on Page 2 lists all the supported functions.

Re - Parking Lights :  On that model Grand Cherokee, the Parking Lights ( as well as the Headlights ) are controlled via a MUX

system.  Depending on the voltage on that MUX wire, the vehicle will turn on or off the Parking and Headlights.  The DB-ALL2 has
a (+) Parking Light Input from the Viper via the D2D harness that causes the DB-ALL2 to output a signal to the MUX wire and does
this for you.  For vehicle Parking Light control follow the Type 3 install guide diagram and join the Violet/Green and Violet/Brown
wires on the red 12 Pin connector and take that one wire and connect it to the G.C.'s Yellow MUX wire at the Headlight switch plug.
Photo of this plug is shown in the Pictorial.  No direct connection from the Viper to the G.C. is needed for the Parking Lights.

The lock control is similar.  The Vipers Lock and Unlock commands are sent to the DB-ALL2 via the D2D harness.  The DB-ALL2

converts these commands into signals that are sent out to the J1850 wire at the OBD2 connector.  In D2D mode, all of the dashed
Blue lines shown in the Type 3 install diagram are made via the D2D harness connection and don't have to be hard wired between
the modules.

Thank you for clarifying that I wasn't sure since when I hooked everything up the dball2 wouldn't power up and nothing worked except the rs would but I think it might be locked so I need a bit writer. Thanks again for your help!

I've made all the connections to the vehicle RS dball2 listed above but when I connect the 10 12 14 pin then d2d connectors to the dball2 it flashes red green orange continuously. I switched to w2w and same result. The error flashes don't match what is the dball2 install sheet. Does anyone know what is wrong with it.

Sorry, can't help much with the DB-ALL2.  Only thing I can think of :

Is the module flashed with the correct firmware?  Chrysler2 V 2.04

Have you tried a module Factory / Hard Reset on the DB-ALL2?

Same thing Kreg has suggested.
Either the firmware is incorrect or not flashed at all.
Wired incorrectly? Double check wiring connections.
Wiring for type 3 install is a fairly simple one.
UPDATE: I just bench tested a DB-ALL2 that has no firmware. It gives the red, green, orange pattern...no firmware
When all else fails, Read the Instructions

If dball2 has been flashed with 5.06 firmware can you do a hard reset and flash with 2.04

You can re-flash the DB-ALL2 to any other firmware without a hard reset.  You just need the XKLoader2 and a PC with an

internet connection.

The 5.06 or 2.04 denote the version of a given Firmware.  My guess would be that your DB-ALL2 module has been

flashed with the 402 Chrysler Ver 5.06 firmware.  As previously mentioned, you need the 402 Chrysler2 firmware, and
the current version is V2.04.  Directed has developed Chrysler, Chrysler2, Chrysler3... through Chrysler11 to handle
most all of the Chrysler, Plymouth, Dodge and Jeep vehicles.
