I installed this unit into my 2013 Tacoma Limited without issue except that I buttoned it all back together before realizing that my parking lights don't work. I suspect that at some point I will open it back up and check the polarity.
My question really is based on manufacturer's jargon. It isn't clear to me what feature/setting I need to change to correct this:
When I lock the doors with the Viper remote, I am able to unlock. When I lock the truck with the key or with the switch on the door, I cannot unlock with the Viper. I can actually live with that but if it's a simple fix, I'll do it.
I'm using a DBALL2 as the bypass module if that matters.
Thanks in advance!

Lately they have been shipping the units with the jumper not installed for the light polarity.
The parking lights should work if yous set jumper inside the brain to (+) and connected to the green at the fuse box. If you connected to the Green at the switch you need to change the polarity for the light output on the brain to negative.
Did you use the Factory arm and disarm wires to lock and unlock or did you wire to the door lock wires only.
If you have a problem not being able to lock or unlock with the vehicle running then you use both.
DBALL2 doesn't do Alarm or door locks with the Gkey "imomobilizer only"
If you didn't have the G key you would be using the PKALL

Hey Lurch!
Yep...simple fix to the parking lights!
I simply used the door lock/unlock wires...I didn't test the locking/unlocking whilst the vehicle was running. Thanks for that tidbit.
10-4 on the DBALL2.
Looks like I am off to the races! Many thanks!

Typically wire the viper lock/unlock wires to the alarm and disarm of the vehicle. Unless you have engine running will not lock/unlock issue. Then wire viper lock/unlock to vehicle (like you have already) and wire viper OEM Alarm Arm/disarm to vehicle arm/disarm wires.
You must set the viper to "double unlock pulse only" if connecting the viper unlock to the vehicle alarm disarm wire.
If you have the engine running won't lock/unlock issue. Don't forget to set the OEM alarm disarm to 2 pulses for the viper if connecting to the vehicle alarm disarm wire.
