I need some advice/help. I have an XP3 Hornet deer whistle to install. It is designed with a 2 prong switch that only turns on the ground in order to activate it; the positive goes directly from the whistle to the battery, this way no "hot" wire enters the passenger compartment. I would like to know how I could wire up a different kind of switch that would light up when turned on so that it would be easy for me to see that it was on, and not accidentally leave it on to drain my battery.
Thanks for any help.

Don't alter it but if you must here's how.
Mind you why would you need a light on when you can hear it?

Hi. Thanks for the idea. I had not thought of using a relay.
The issue is that I can not hear it. It's like one of those dog whistles, only the animals can hear it. So I can not tell if it
is on or off by any sound.
Thanks

There's another way if you can be bothered, 12 volt led constant feed. black side to existing switch output.
