Hi,
Have a Kia Sportage 2012 equipped with Astrostart RSS-2524 remote starter system including a 1-way remote J5F-TX60A and a 2-way remote HST-2524. I recently bought a replacement for the HST-2524 and programmed it using the "dip switch 8 + brake" method. The 1-way remote is ok (lock/unlock/start/stop). With the 2-way remote I can lock/unlock and start the car BUT it doesnt shut down the vehicule once it started.
Any idea what could be the problem and how I can solve it ?
Keep in mind that I am a newbie at this

Even if the remote was new, seems like the problems was a bad set of batteries in the new remote. Once changed everything was back to normal.
