Viper Remote 4205V
IDatalink ADS-TB Fireware TB-FM2 Hardwired
I'm attempting to do the Module programming procedure with two oem keys on a 2012 Ford Fusion and I'm getting stuck on step 9. Everything appears to be in order until I press and release the programming button on the bypass again on step 9 the LED turns solid red. I proceeded to step 10 nothing no start.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated

Did you try a Factory Reset on the bypass module? My normal routine is to perform the firmware flash, then use a +12V P.S. connected to a 4 Pin data cable ( with just Red and Black connected ) to do a Factory Reset followed immediately by the Installation Mode selection ( Standard = 2 Blinks ).
You said 2 OEM Factory keys, so a cloned key shouldn't be the issue.
You said all normal bypass LED responses during programming until Step 9 so RX TX wires shouldn't be an issue.
Here is a photo of the wires ( from the cousin vehicle ) :

Will the vehicle remote start with the ADS TB unplugged and an ignition key inserted ( but not turned )?
Might be easier to just do the KLON process with one key.
Soldering is fun!

Morning Kreg thx for your response I did most of what you suggested I dont recall if I unplugged the bypass before I attempted the remote start with the key in the ignition. I'll give that a try when my son gets home (his car birthday gift)!

I tested the remote start with the ADS TB unplugged no go so I retraced my steps and found the neutral safety was not grounded once I did that I was able to complete the programming and the car now remote starts. The thing that fooled me was how I was able to get to step 9 with no warning/errors etc. this is only the second personal system I've installed so I don't have the experience still find it alittle odd thou.
As always Kreg thank you for your time and effort!
