Running into some issues while wiring up my pregnant wife's 2007 Equinox LT. Purchased her a Viper 5204, VSM200, and dball2 for her last Christmas and just now getting around to installing it. Funny how much they get on you when it starts snowing out.
Anyways. I've found the wiring diagrams for the vehicle, 5204, and the vsm200. I've found tons of them for the dball2. That's where my issues are arising. I've got the 5204 hooked up completely as far as I can tell. For the life of me (and my dad) cannot get the dball2 to even show any lights.
Curious if any of the installers on here have any notes or wire diagrams for this vehicle or can push me in the right direction.
Thanks in advance!

Are you using d2d or w2w? if d2d you should only need the main gauge wires in the remote start and the data plug between the two plugged in, in order to have the lights show on the dball2.

By my understanding the only wires needed in the remote start are positive, geound, and key sense due to the equinox not having typical starter wires. So in theory all I need to hook up on the dball would be the CAN wires, 12v, ignition output, immobilizers, RAPoff and accessory output correct? Other than the obvious d2d, soon and antenna connections.

I'll write it all out how it is sitting currently when I get on my lunch break in an hour and a half. My dad was the one that did most of it trying to be nice and after researching more and more think he got over zealous. Know for sure he hooked up like 8-10 wires at the bcm from the viper. Ie: door lock, unlock, trunk release and horn.

I see a lot of different connection listed on the wiring diagram for the DBALL2 vs your listing above.
Accessory looks to be coming out of the DBALL2 to the ignition switch connector as well as ignition and ignition from the Viper.
Neutral Safety, H2/2, need to be grounded.
Parking light wire to BCM X2 connector...and many other differences.
Unless you and I are looking at different info?

Got the dball flashed and working but hit another snag. Everything is working as should besides the remote start. Valet light is staying on and have tried every trick to get it to turn off to no success. Have programmed the viper to automatic trans mode and still won't start. Remote makes loud beep with red light and shortly after I can hear what's sounds like a relay in the bcm click on and off 8 times.

Use the following steps to enter or exit Valet Mode:
1. Turn the ignition ON then OFF.
2. Immediately press and release the control button once.
3. The control center LED turns ON when entering and OFF when exiting.
Eight (8) flashes of the Viper...Neutral Safety Shutdown...H2/2. read above post about grounding.

That doesn't work to get it out of valet. And neither does the door open, lock, unlock, lock trick
