Just put an avital 5305L with dball2 (firmware honda56 program type 1) in a 2011 Honda Pilot.
Alarm functions all work and keyless entry function as well as hatch glass work fine. However when attempting to remote start the unit fails to even initialize. Dball2 doesn't blink, the two way remote shows rx then tx (shows signal sent and signal from module back to remote received. ) but doesn't light up dash or energize any of the primary heavy gauge wires ign, acc,acc2, starter etc. the feed side is hot at all times all fuses are good it is as if the brand new 5305 main module has an internal relay issue. I've gone over all connections and the D2D cable is good and properly connected. All connections are crimped, soldered, and sealed no t tap or shady wiring. Has anyone run into a similar problem ? Kinda ruined a Christmas surprise :(
