After battery change, unlock now locks

UNGO sr9000, basically a viper 791vx. This remote start has been operating problem free for 5+ years. Changed the battery in my truck and now the lock button on the remote unlocks the truck but arms the system. And the unlock button on the remote locks the truck but disarms the system. So to get in my truck now I have to lock it with the remote, open the door then immediately unlock it with the remote so the alarm doesn't trigger. Almost as if by changing the battery the blue and green lock wires were swapped. I had an issue a few days before the battery swap where the remote start would start the vehicle but then shutdown. I traced that down to a burnt out brake light that was feeding parking light voltage to the brake wire, thus shutting it down. Other than that it's been a peach. Any ideas?

Let me add that I have two remotes for this system, one added about a year ago (standard auto learn config) and both remotes exhibit the same issue. I am going to try to delete all transmitters and program them again, maybe something there was corrupted?

On your alarm, is polarity for the door lock/unlock outputs programmable (positive/negative or negative/positive)? If so, you'll likely need to reprogram the alarm and not the remotes. the12volt • Support the12volt.com

SOLVED!! I did find the problem, figured I would post in case (not likely) anyone else has the same problem. the truck also has window modules which are powered off of a separate fuse than the rest of the security system. That power lead got left off when the new battery got put in. I can only assume it has something to do with ground when armed??
