Hi guys , firstly happy Christmas from Ireland. I'm hoping someone can help me.
I'm.fitting an electronic deadlock to a new Transit. It is essentially another 2wire central locking actuator. I'm trying to fit it so when I arm the vehicle it will activate the deadbolt . But the double lock on the remote key is confusing the actuator. Any help greatly appreciated.
Cheers and happy New year

What did you connect it to?
Is it a Transit Connect? 1500? 2500?

There was a connector with approx 5 black cables . I used my testers and found the wire that pulsed + for lock and +for unlock. I connected the ends of the actuator to them but the double lock confused the way it worked. I'm hoping to try later with a relay configuration.

Do you see a Blue and brown wire at this location BCM/dash fuse box, brown 46 pin plug (B), pin 45?
Check voltage across these 2 wires in a lock and unlock situation, it should read +12 volts under one situation and -12 under the other. If this is the case simply parallel the deadbolt across these 2 wires.
