would the siren on the prestige aps997e stop working randly because how cold its been? maybe froze up? it was working yesterday than the blizzard came and the temps dropped. alarm still works arms and disarms but no siren. anyone know what the problem is?

Sirens do go out. Especially if they are mounted facing upwards. They tend to fill up with water. Do you have a volt meter or a test light?

X2 with Mr.I. Sirens can fail, especially if they are mounted in a location where they can get water exposure. I would pay close attention to the ground connection on the siren--make sure it is a good metal to metal connection; I have seen a few Prestige sirens fail from corroded/bad ground connection. I would also configure the system for horn/siren as a backup until you have it figured out.

the siren is facing down but forward no water inside. i disnt check the connection yet its wayyyy to cold. its literally a week old. if it went bad that must be the fastest kn history. thanks guys ill check ground.
