hey im new to the forum and i just started doing a remote starter on my 2010 toyota tacoma manual trans with the standard chipped key with the dot on the key, i have everything wired up and im trying to learn my key but its not working, i have the dball2 bypass and FT-7200S-CONT remote starter, i bought the dball2 on ebay and the seller flashed it for me before sending it out i have double checked all my connections to the dball2 and i know they are correct, i plug in the harnesses into it with the main power harness being the last one i plug in and im getting the solid red led but when i put in the key and it is supposed to flash red led im still just getting the solid red led i would appreciate any advice in advance thank you

hey,
did you connect the key sense wire from the dballs blue port to the car ?
also check to make sure your tx and rx wires are not reversed

yes those are the wires that i double checked to make sure and yes the keysense and the tx and rx wires are correct, i got an email back from the ebay seller telling me that from what i explained to him the dball was not getting an ignition on the black connector im going to double check that when i get back from work tonight

i checked the ignition and im all good there i have ignition power on that wire
