S2000, 3606V Viper Alarm, Windows Down w/Remote

I have a 2004 Honda S2000. I installed a Viper 3606V alarm, all functions work properly (lock, unlock, dome light, trunk pop, tilt sensor, field disturbance sensor, everything). I would like to roll down my window with my remote (using the remote start button, which can be aux 1 or 4). I have already looked through the wiring schematics and just cant make heads or tails out of it. I don't want to use a window module, and I have no interest in having the windows roll up when arming the alarm. I thought it might be easy because when I open my convertible top my windows will go down 0.5 seconds before the top even begins to move, its a factory thing. Also, even when my top is up I can press up on the convertible top switch to have both windows roll down. Sorry to have made this so long, I just want to provide all relevant information. Should I be looking at the wiring from the convertible top switch, the convertible top control unit, or power window master switch? How could I get this to work? Thank you.2004 s2000

Some high-end Honda's have a feature where you can get the windows to roll up or down with the key. Try this : Insert the key in the drivers door lock cylinder, rotate the key to the lock position and hold it there for 10 seconds. Do the windows roll up? Next try the same routine but rotate and hold the key in the unlock position. Do the windows roll down? Report back with the results, please. Soldering is fun!

if like mentioned in the other post you aren't able to roll the window down with the key in the door you will have to use the window module. They monitor the current at the motor to make sure the motor isn't running any longer than it needs to so it doesn't burn the motor out. I've seen people just use relays and 6 months later there replacing the motor33 years as a installer now just a retired old guy. Favorite thing to install/topic are remote starts/car alarms. Stop using test lights!!!

Forgot to report back. The S2000's car windows do not roll down or up with the Key in the door lock cylinder. It will lock, and unlock both doors when held in the lock or un lock position for about 3 to 4 seconds. I think that something in the soft top control unit is what I need to tap into. But if no one knows for sure I guess Ill just get the Window module unit. Thanks again everyone.2004 s2000
