I am installing a Compustar CS6900 in my 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee and am having trouble hooking up the keyless entry part of the system. I tested the alarm and it sends out a negative 12v pulse in both wires coming from the alarm brain. My driver side and passenger side door switches both work on the vehicle but the alarm isn't triggering them even though its sending power. I tested the leads going to the door actuator with my power probe and noticed that the wires are grounded out. If I send positive power to them the circuit on my power probe pops. Sending negative power obviously does nothing as they are already grounded out anyways. What I can't understand is why do my door switches still work and register 12v positive when I push the door lock/unlock buttons but as soon as I try to use my power probe or alarms keyless entry to trigger them it does nothing? I also checked the wires going from the switch to the actuator and there is no shorts anywhere. The wires on the drivers side that I am trying to tie into is the "orange/violet for lock" and "pink/black for unlock".

You have Type C door locks, not Type B, and you must go into each of the front doors.
POWER LOCK      ORANGE/VIOLET and PINK/BLACK (TYPE C) See NOTE *2      IN BOTH FRONT DOORS
POWER UNLOCK      PINK/BLACK (TYPE C) See NOTE *2      IN BOTH FRONT DOORS
NOTE *2 Use ORANGE/VIOLET for LOCK and PINK/BLACK for UNLOCK at the DRIVERS DOOR SWITCH. Use BLACK/WHITE for LOCK and PINK/BLACK for UNLOCK at the passenger front door switch.

Type C Door Locks
You'll need 4 relays for your vehicle's door locks. Two for the driver's door and two for the passenger's.

Can I just use two relays to hook up just the drivers side?

Well I actually have 2 SPDT relays laying around I was going to use for wiring up my amplifiers but I will see if I can't get this to work for my doors so I know to buy more later.

Well good news is that my relays work. I can send negative power to them with my power probe and they trigger my door locks. Bad news is I can't seem to figure out why I'm not getting any negative output from my car alarm anymore.
EDIT: Tested leads from alarm and each one gives off 0.1 volts when I trigger lock/unlock on the remote. Its not enough voltage to trigger the relay. I have all the constant and ignition 12v wires connected so I don't see why its not working.

It sounds like you may have toasted the alarm door lock outputs when you had them connected to the door lock motor legs and used the switch to lock/unlock the doors. BTW, you should be looking for continuity to ground, not necessarily voltage, unless you have the positive lead of your meter connected to 12V+ while probing the alarm door lock outputs with the negative lead of your meter, but the pulses may be too short for you to get an accurate reading whether they are good or bad.

Was hoping you wouldn't say that... Not really sure what to do then besides trying to get a new brain.

Your alarm may have other outputs you could use to activate the lock and unlock relays, but I do not have a wiring manual for your alarm. If you can post it, I may be able to offer some suggestions.
