Remote Starter install 2nd Ignition problem. Tutorial to help other people with this issue:
As noted you need to connect the white wire to the second ignition. If you do not, the vehicle will only have first gear and drive about 8mph (13kph) no matter how much you put the accelerator down. You barely move through traffic lights and hold up traffic. It is like you have 1/4 the speed/power of first gear. Do not drive with this, your transmission computer is not powered and you are breaking the transmission.
Fix: Turn off the vehicle, restart with key and NOT the remote start. Drives fine and you can go home. No transmission wear, and vehicle has power and drives like normal.
I left my remote starter in for a week and drove only with the key. You do not need to panic and rip out the starter! A volt meter shows the white Ignition #2 wire has no voltage when running. Get it wired properly and the remote starter will work fine.
It is fine to use the remote start to turn on the vehicle and TEST the remote starter (use volt meter to see what wire is not connected), do not drive around or run it long.
I was installing a Viper 4305 and have the Chevrolet second Ignition wire problem, it was not powering up. It was connected to the Pink/White "(+) 2nd Ignition/Accessory Relay Output (30 of onboard relay)"
My problem was the Viper remote starter Red/White wire was not connected. I had read several places and videos that said it did not need to be connected. They were wrong, it is part of the relay for the Pink/White wire.
For extra info: the pink/black wire is not connected and was shortened and capped. It was not needed for the install to make the second Ignition wire work.
I did not need to wire up any separate relays and only used the relay built into the car starter.
Where to find the Blazer, Jimmy, Sonoma second Ignition wire. It is in the ignition harnes, it is a smaller white wire, it is in the same bundle as the larger Pink, Red and Orange wires leading up the steering column towards the key. The larger yellow covered wires are for the airbag. The smaller yellow wire in the same bundle often goes to the Purple (violet) (+) Starter output wire.
On the viper 4305 the #5 Dark Blue wire tells the Passlock bypass module when to work. Make sure it is dark dark blue, not just the somewhat darker blue wire.
Also on the viper remote start the small Red/White wire was pink/white, they had a bad supply or ran out of red and used dark pink instead.
Door input: I wired off to the plastic trigger on the drivers door, it easily disconnects to solder onto.
Tach wire, I have not clue where the tach wire all the guides listed. I never found the red pin. I just took one directly off the engine. There are hundreds of videos on where to add a tach to a chevy. Follow those to get the right wire. Post a photo if you find the pin #20 they were talking about, the next guy could use the extra 3 hours of his life....
Hood Pin. I bolted mine in same place as the attached photo. Between the plastic tabs that hold on the drivers headlight. I used a small piece of angle iron to make the same setup, mine is more to the left, still between the tabs.

I hope all of this information helps someone else with the 2nd ignition problem not connected Blazer Jimmy Sonoma.
This post is worded strange, so it will show up in more google searches. I spent hours searching for several of the problems listed above and hope the next person will save some time.
