I am trying to install the Viper 4606v Remote Start (this device was previously installed on a different car) to a 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan. If we look onto Viper wiring diagram, there is the Remote Start, 10-pin heavy gauge connector which confuses me.
Looking at the 10 pin diagram this is how I am going to do:
1. NC - no conection
2. RED / BLACK - connects to car starter wire (YELLOW) ;
3. PINK / BLACK - no idea where to connect this one (+)FLEX RELAY INPUT 87A key side (if required) of FLEX RELAY ;
4. PINK / WHITE - connect to car second ignition wire (BLACK/ORANGE) ;
5. RED - connects to car ignition wire (BLUE) ;
6. GREEN - no idea where to connect this one (+)STARTER INPUT (KEY SIDE OF THE STARTER KILL) ;
7. VIOLET - no idea where to connect this one (+) STARTER OUTPUT (CAR SIDE OF THE STARTER KILL) ;
8. ORANGE - connects to car accessory wire (BLACK/WHITE)
9. RED / WHITE - no idea where to connect this one - we already have number 4. to the second ignition wire(+) FUSED 12V IGNITION 2 / FLEX RELAY INPUT 87
10. PINK - no idea where to connect this one (+) IGNITION 1 INPUT/OUTPUT
... I am not that good with those things is going to be my first install so please be patient with me and would be much appreciated.

2. RED/BLACK - (+) fused 12 volt constant
3. PINK/BLACK - not used
5. RED - (+) fused 12 volt constant
6. GREEN - if you want to connect starter kill, cut the starter wire at the ignition harness and connect the key side to this wire
7. VIOLET - connect to the starter wire at the ignition harness (car side)
9. RED/WHITE - (+) fused 12 volt constant
10. PINK - primary ignition wire at ignition harness

Thank for quick response.
How about 4 and 8 , are they okay how I thought initially?
About the number 6 can you explain better what that does and how exactly it’s done.

4 and 8 are good.
Starter kill helps prevent theft by keeping the starter from running so the engine doesn't start. If you want this feature, cut the starter wire at the ignition harness and connect the side that leads to the ignition switch to the green wire. Connect the side that leads to the car to the starter to the purple wire.
If you don't care about starter kill, just connect the purple wire and don't connect the green wire.

Alright so i connected the remote start wires above and everything works great! My question is, if I start the engine from the remote and start driving and lets say the shutdown timer is 10 mins, the engine is going to shutdown while driving ?

No, because it's running with the key. Most remote starts are also setup to shutdown when the brake pedal is pressed to prevent theft. You can turn on your key before stepping on the brake and the engine will keep running. If you forget and press the brake first, you just restart with the key.
