Hi all. I'm new to this forum and hope that someone can help.
I had to clean up the wiring mess on my 92 Rolls Silver Spirit, and in the process, disconnected three wires that connected to an after market keyless entry unit. When it came time to reconnect the wires, I'd forgotten where they went.
The wire colors are Red, Yellow and black. I figured that red was 12V battery, and black was ground. but I have no idea where the yellow goes. With just red and black connected, the remotes work, but just on the front doors. I thought that maybe the yellow goes to the 12v ignition circuit, but if I apply 12V (battery power) to the yellow wire, while red is still connected, the internal relays just toggle continuously.
I can't find a manufacturers name on the unit, but it looks exactly like the Commando KE-40 shown on their website. I have tried to contact them for wiring and programming info, but they are non responsive.
Does anyone have a users manual, or know where all the wires connect?
Thanks.
Roller

You may have already tried this, but look on the back of the remote for an FCC ID number. If you find one, Google it. You may get some more information that way.
My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.

Looks like all of my reply did not make it through.
In any case. The key fob has no info about the FCC code, either on the outside or inside of the case, and also not on the pcb.
