Thank you for that information. I printed out the wiring that you linked to. Attached is the wiring for the viper kit. I am trying to pinpoint which wires go where but I having trouble for half of them. Numbers 2, 3, 4, 5 of the main harness, all of the satellite harness and both remote start harnesses.

Any ideas?

Factory Alarm on the Tundra is rearmed when locked. Remote starters/alarms are aftermarket units and have lots of options and outputs for many different vehicles. Not all wires will be needed for each vehicle. If you aren't seeing a connection point on the wiring diagram for your truck then it's probably not needed. I think you need to track down the actual full install manual and read through it because that "quick" guide is for experienced installers.Steve G

The only full installation manual I've been able to find is for a different model viper remote start. Its been a little help but Activation Input wire on the main harness is still unclear and the Satellite harness is unknown.

Not needed for your application. Satellite wiring harness not needed either. Connect blue/white (2nd status) wire to the keysense wire if there is a factory alarm.Steve G

Ok just got done a little bit ago, having a couple issues. Which plug is for the horn on the steering column? Know it's a green/red wire, but there is 2 or 3 of those. Also, the doors won't unlock with the controls. I connected it to the red/yellow wire on the white plug in drivers side kick panel. Locking works fine, except no little chirp like the factory keyless entry.

Test the suspect wire with a DMM. Press the horn and if it gives you a reading on the meter then you have the correct wire. If not move to the next suspected wire. You will likely not get any chirp as you are not using the factory key fob to arm the vehicle. You are just interfacing the aftermarket alarm to the factory door locks. Kinda like locking the car when you are pressing the door lock button. You don’t get a chirp then either. I’m sure there are options in the programming menu that allow chirps if you installed a siren or horn honks once that is hooked up.Steve G
