2007 Ford E-350 Van, Keyless Entry, Remote Start

I recently installed a keyless entry and remote start on my 2007 Ford E350 work van. I have encountered 2 items that I’m sure it’s aometjing I’ve missed by mistake. Thanks for any insight in correcting the two items below. Type: Encore E-5 1) Keyless entry will lock and unlock doors perfect but lights do not flash when locking or unlocking. 2) Remote Start will crank 2007 Ford E350 van, then i get inside and put key in switch and turn to normal operating position. Then drive it and start to turn it off, Ford E350 will not turn off using key or brake pedal. Motor will ONLY shut off when i kill it using either remote. What am i missing hereGene Lefler

Seems like the brake input is not getting the signal it needs. Double check that wiring. You need to use your DMM to verify that the wire you are attached to goes to 12 volts when the pedal is depressed. The parking light is probably using 2 wires. One wire connects to the parking light wire in the van and the other wire connects to either 12 volts or ground depending on which your van needs to function.Steve G
