My question is how do I wire a Galls Police siren into an alarm system. My initial thought is to wire 12v to relay terminal 87, ground 85, remote turn on to 86, siren power to 30. I would keep the siren buttons on the sound I select and keep the switch to on.
My question is can I power the siren through the relay? Will the relay fail?
Alternatively, I could wire the siren directly to the battery. Then use the relay wiring described above as an extension of remote turn on. This would require me identifying how to use the relay as the on off switch on this amp. Does anyone know how to do this? I have the Galls Policr siren model st105.
Thank you

A standard Bosch/Now Tyco relay is rated at 40 amps on the normally open contacts. As long as the current draw for your siren is less than that you should be fine.
