I installed a 535T as a standalone to make opening and closing my electric cutouts one touch rather than holding the single DPDT switch. Made all my connections according to the instructions for a Type A (dipswitch #3 ON) two window install, because there are two DC motors and no module in the circuit.
When I ground the red/white wire to "learn" the limits of open and close, I get a short movement, then nothing. Holding for 10 seconds or more gets short movement when I press and then nothing.
Troubleshooting Section of documentation covers this issue, but there is no module and "helping the window" open or close does not help. It seems as if the 535T will not enter Learn Mode because I get immediate movement, rather then a delay before cycling open and closed.
Have I missed a connection? Maybe a basic principle? Should I start Learn with the cutouts halfway open?
